THE ENDLESS LAVENDER FIELDS OF PROVENCE, FRANCE

Let the beauty of Provence wrap around you – the heady scent of lavender and the sweep of vibrant purple fields at peak bloom.

In the southeast of France, summer brings fields of lavender into full, vibrant colour. Rows of purple stretch across the landscape, backed by distant mountains and surrounded by quiet rural villages. The landscape is alive with colour, texture and scent, providing endless inspiration for photography and creativity. The region is also rich in charming towns, local culture, and cuisine, giving you the chance to experience Provence beyond the fields of lavender.

This six-day photography workshop, offered through Destination Earth Photo Tours, invites you to immerse yourself in this wonderful environment. Each day begins in warm morning light as the fields come alive – bees humming,  and the air rich with fragrance. Days are thoughtfully structured with early mornings and late evenings to make the most of the light, without feeling exhausting. With a small group size, there’s ample space to work intuitively and receive thoughtful, individualized guidance.

Transportation and single-occupancy lodging are included. Throughout the workshop, you’ll receive expert instruction both in the field and during post-processing sessions, all designed to help you refine your vision and bring your images to life. Our priority is simple: to support you in creating photographs you’re truly excited about – while enjoying an inspiring and memorable experience.

Participants should fly into the Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) on July 7 where you will be received and transferred to our hotel in Provence. Hotel rooms are single occupancy (not shared with another participant) and are included for the nights of July 7 – 11, with check out on July 12 after our final shooting session.

Participants will be transported back to the Marseille Airport on July 12 with drop-off at 12pm to catch their flights home or extend their trip.

The airport is 1.5 hours away from our hotel for the week so be mindful of this drop-off time and please book a return flight after this factoring in necessary time at the airport.
