Join Us on the Wild Coastline of Tofino, BC
Embark on a transformative 5 day workshop designed specifically for those interested in exploring or deepening their connection to landscape and nature photography. This workshop is more than just a learning experience, it’s an opportunity to cultivate confidence, creativity and community in a supportive, environment.
What to Expect:
Over the course of five days, you’ll be guided through the beautiful coastal scenery of Tofino and Ucluelet with its lush, temperate rainforest, thick lichens, mosses, fungi and ferns to expansive sandy beaches framed by rocky outcrops and tide pools. Driftwood, shaped by the Pacific Ocean’s relentless force scatters the shoreline and ocean spray fills the air. You’ll receive hands-on guidance in both the technical aspects of photography and the exploration of your creative vision.
Building Community:
We believe in the power of community and connection. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to bond with like-minded individuals who share similar interests in photography. We’ll set aside time for group discussions and kick off the workshop with a welcome dinner, included in the cost. Our hope is that the relationships fostered here will extend beyond the bounds of the workshop experience.
A Safe Space for Growth:
Our workshop is designed to be a safe and inclusive space where you can explore your creativity without judgement. Whether you’re a beginner looking to build your skills or an experienced photographer seeking new inspiration, you’ll find the support you need to grow and excel.
Finding Your Voice in Nature:
We’re here to empower you to find your unique voice as a photographer, developing the confidence to express yourself through your work. We’ll help to foster your emotional connection with the landscape, enabling you to create images that resonate deeply with you and others.
Be Part of the Experience:
We invite you to join us on this creative adventure in the beautiful, wild coastal landscapes of the West Coast. Expand your photographic creativity and skills while building meaningful connections and community in a supportive environment.
Driving:
Vancouver Island—and Tofino—can be accessed by driving your own or a rented vehicle. If coming from British Columbia’s mainland, you’ll need to first cross the Salish Sea via ferry.
