From bump to baby – welcoming a new little one into the world!
It was really wonderful to be invited back after a maternity session to document and get to meet this wonderful young man. He’s six months old and this tiny person has rearranged his parents lives in the best possible way.
We chose to return to this same gorgeous spot right here in the Shuswap – a lakeside setting with a forested edge that caught the last of the late afternoon light.
From the moment I pressed the shutter, it was clear just how settled this little family had become.
Watching the two of them with their son was wonderful: The way he lit up for them. The quiet moments between all three of them that didn’t need any direction at all – I just got to witness and capture.
Grandma and siblings joined us for part of the session, and those moments were wonderful too; especially seeing the interaction of the young cousins together.
